when he sees an outlet, he starts saying "no, no, no, no, no". he understands that I am going to say "no" around any outlet, he just doesn't take me seriously. or maybe he thinks "no, no, no, no" is the name for outlets!

drinking from a cup

the book (what to expect...) said that jack should be able to drink from a cup right now; in retrospect, I think they meant a sippy cup, not a glass! jack thinks, for some reason, that his tongue needs to dip into the glass in order for him to take a drink - it is too funny.

jack started walking a few weeks after his birthday; here is a video taken about a week ago. john chose and added the soundtrack. i would have chosen an amy winehouse song given the way that jack staggers through the apartment.
