we had a 5 hour delay on our way to utah - playing "where's jack?" consumed a larg part of our waiting time for the plane to take off.

we went to a children christmas party last weekend. it was all pretty overwhelming for jack, but such a lovely party. jack sat on santa's lap and was very curious and eager to play with his beard and face.

jack and his books

jack often retreats to his room to read his books. he really loves them, and it is really cute. more importantly, i hope this means that he is a shoo-in for harvard (or stanford for his west coast relatives!)

here is jack's first trial with the table and chairs - it all seemed to pass jack's exacting standards...
